Preparation

Pears:

  1. In a pot, heat water and infuse brown sugar, star anise, cinnamon stick, lime zest and fresh ginger.
  2. Boil, over medium heat, until it turns into a light syrup.
  3. Add slices of pear and cook for 6 minutes or until pears are soft.
  4. Take pear slices out of the mix and save.

Sandwich:

  1. On a slice of Pan Cero Cero Bimbo, spread a tablespoon of ricotta-style cheese and add some pear slices–about half the piece.
  2. Pour a tablespoon of milk and sprinkle cranberries and almonds.
  3. Follow the same procedure with the second slice of bread.
